Learning to Love Learning

The Montessori School for the Arts

Comments from parents & students......
We were hiking through a subtropical rainforest this summer and Andrew kept saying, “I learned about this at my school!” when we encountered blue butterflies, millipedes, caterpillars, etc. Laura Salas-‐Tobia
Jason is thriving in kindergarten and we owe it all to you guys! You prepared him well and I want to thank you for everything you do! The Leedles

Words cannot describe the care and contribution you have made to Nicole’s life. She is blessed to have had you in her life to teach, guide and nurture. You are truly terrific! Christy & Gary Terry

We can’t thank you enough for the “Love of learning” you have taught Carley. Her independence and love of reading are attributed to the foundation you’ve helped create. Thank you for everything! Scott& Caroline Bogue

Thank you for the unparalleled learning experience you have provided for Gage. He has thoroughly enjoyed being a part of your school and you will be missed as we proceed to the next chapter of our lives. K. Warrum

Thank you for all you have done for me personally, as well as, for all that have benefitted from your service. You are an inspiring witness to and example of true dedication to the educating and upbringing of children. Chase Cloutier, Valedictorian, NHS Class of 2010 and former TMS preschooler.

Best preschool in Okaloosa hands down!  Both my kids went from saying they were "not sure they can do that" to declaring they can do it themselves!  I particularly appreciate the focus on self-care and healthy snacks.  My early bloomer went from having to be pushed to practice reading to reading books on his own for fun.  My other child gained an intense appreciation for nature.
I have heard several parents of kids in other preschools say that while their school was nice the kids don't seem to be learning anything.  That is NOT the case here.  It's a room full of quiet, playful, academic rigor. Erin M., Niceville

The Montessori School for the Arts is a superior preschool education program. The class sizes are small, enabling students to become leaders while learning community and cooperation central to a Montessori program. The facility is large enough to accommodate music rooms, dance and yoga rooms, along with an amazing assortment of beautiful, innovative manipulatives you simply will not find in other schools. Both of my children learned to challenge themselves academically. More importantly, they both learned self-worth and self-discipline. I loved seeing the joy my children experienced because of a well-balanced preschool education! If we had another child, we would certainly send him here! Kristen W.

The Montessori School for the Arts is an amazing education program offered to PreK students in Okaloosa County.   Ms. Elena and her staff have taught and prepared all four of our children over the past 10 years.  Our children developed and grew under her care.   Exposure to music, dance, famous artists, environmental science, and foreign languages occurred weekly.   In addition to gaining an understanding of math concepts and reading comprehension, our children learned responsibility, self control, and other important social skills.  Montessori School for the Arts is the kind of place where former students return to bring their children to school.  We highly recommend Montessori School for the Arts.   Dr. Chris Reid (Nephrologist) and Melissa Thrush (Okaloosa County School Board Member)
